Some children visit the practice because they have difficulty coordinating their tongue movement, which means that enunciating certain words and sounds can be quite difficult. The result is poor speech. Chiropractic neurology has successfully treated children with these problems so that they can move forward, and things such as talking and reading become much easier.

Other children might come because they have difficulty reading. If your child cannot read, then it becomes very difficult for them to learn in the traditional sense of school- bright children can fall behind in their schooling! Quite often, there is a problem with their eye movement which can be corrected with appropriate exercises. Five to ten minutes per day of exercises can turn a child's life around.

Clumsiness is also problematic for some kids, and may be fixed with some simple exercises. It is often a mild dysfunction of the cerebellum ( or "baby brain"), and when corrected, can easily enhance a child's self esteem, making life a lot more fun.
