About Us

Richard Robertson graduated several years ago from Macquarie University. Soon after this he undertook a further two year training program in chiropractic neurology allowing treatment of a wide range of disodors, including vertigo/balance issues, tremors, insomnia and clumsiness. He also treats learning, concentration and reading issues in children.
Prior to the five years at University, Richard spent 10 years training in standing meditation under a Chinese master and now teaches this along with breathing techniques and body movement. He has also studied various massage techniques including Chinese, Japanese and western styles. These encapsulate acupressure, reflexology and various soft tissue therapies and mobilizations.

He can also perform a variety of cranio-sacral techniques that allows treatment of dental problems, head/facial trauma and various ailments.

As an adjunct to these studies, Richard has also been practising the Japanese art of Aikido for the last 13 years under Takeyasu Sensei of Aikido Australia. This has helped enormously to gain a different understanding of the biomechanics of body movement. This knowledge is applied in the various home exercises and treatment therapies used in the clinic.

Nutrition Products

A range of nutrition products are available in the clinic to help with energy and digestive function, and on occasion, homoeopathic remedies are used as well. Please refer to the section on nutrition to find out more about products to aid digestion and our range of wholefood supplements.

Treatment

The treatments offered differ from person to person, as each case is treated individually from babies through to the elderly, and as there is such a wide variety of techniques to choose from.

Over the last few years Richard has given talks to various healthcare professionals about how functional neurology can be used in clinic, and welcomes the opportunity should you be interested.
